EKE-Construction Ltd is moving to new premises
EKE-Construction Ltd is moving to new premises built by the company on 15 February 2021. The new address is Piispanportti 11, which is located in Espoo by the Länsiväylä motorway, close to Matinkylä metro station. The Group’s parent company EKE-Finance Ltd, as well as EKE-Electronics Ltd, will continue to operate just under half a kilometre away at Piispanmäentie 5.
The new office building at Piispanportti was completed ahead of schedule. As recently as 1.5 years ago, the same block housed the old office building of EKE Group, which has now been replaced by the new Office Centre. EKE is also currently putting up residential buildings in the same block.
Six floors of modern business premises
The new 6-storey Office Centre comprises 4,200 square metres of leasable business premises and provides office space for up to 350 people.
The centre, built in accordance with the loft concept, has a brick façade and a main entrance wall made entirely out of glass. The interior decor combines concrete, glass, steel, and oak.
Thanks to the flexible basic solution of the premises, all the facilities on the office floors can be implemented according to the needs of the users as either open space or individual office rooms. Heating and cooling are technically implemented using radiant panels.
In addition to functionality and appearance, attention has been paid to the comfort and well-being of users as well as to sustainable development. The aim is for the office building to be granted both WELL and LEED certifications as proof of these factors.
Several companies will move into the building between February and March. The top floor is reserved for employees of EKE-Construction. Facilities for users include a gym as well as a lobby café and social premises.
